If you want a workout tracker that works without an account and keeps your training log on-device, look for an offline-first app with fast logging, reliable history, and export.
You can start with our main list here: Workout Trackers (iOS) — Top Apps.
These are the features that actually matter for “offline workout tracking.”
You should be able to install, open, and start logging immediately—no sign-in screens blocking the core flow.
Logging, history, and charts should still work without Wi‑Fi or cellular.
At minimum: CSV export. Ideally: full history export and a way to re-import later.
Few taps to add sets, adjust weight/reps, and move on. Offline apps win when friction is low.
You should be able to find past workouts quickly and see recent performance per exercise.
“Offline-first” doesn’t mean “no backups.” Local data is great; losing your phone isn’t. Check backup options.
Many apps can work offline but also support optional sync. That’s fine as long as offline logging and browsing are fully functional.
Even if you love the app, the ability to export your history is the difference between “my data” and “their data.”
